At just 18, Rick’s life changed forever after a devastating car accident. Since that day, he has relied on the support of others for his daily needs and for something many of us take for granted—simply getting outside. Thanks to the dedication of volunteers and the availability of wheelchair bikes, people like Rick can once again feel the wind on their face, reconnect with nature, and experience a sense of freedom that means the world to them. Volunteers often say that riding together is a social, uplifting, and fun experience for them as well. Your support helps make moments like these possible. Rick Foundation is committed to lend wheelchair bikes to people who are not able to ride a bicycle on their own such as elderly people or people with a disability. The Rick Foundation is completely dependent on funds and donations. Money is needed for the purchase, maintenance, insurance and renewal of the bicycles.
