In Sri Lanka, people with disabilities are often sidelined. They often do not have access to appropriate education. Work or a place in society are not self-evident. At the Friendship Foundation, we work on a society in which everyone participates and everyone's talent counts. We offer more than 75 families with a family member with a disability a better future. Through our projects in the areas of care, education, work and inclusion, we strengthen the position of people with disabilities and their families. In this way, we improve their financial situation and social position, and contribute to an inclusive society.
